Description:

This exhibition was prompted by a sizable gift of cookbooks to the Library. The twelve cases in the exhibition space were broken down by types of guests at a dinner: adventurous eaters, royalty, and so on. Cookbooks, menus, and objects with information on how to cook for the particular guests were then chosen. The Adventurous Eaters case included books on cooking with insects and cooking on car engines, as well as F. T. Marinetti’s Futurist Cookbook.
